When planning your wedding decor, it’s the little details that truly tie everything together. Centerpieces play a key role in transforming your tables into works of art, reflecting your unique style and setting the mood for your celebration.
Whether you’re leaning toward timeless elegance or whimsical charm, here are some centrepiece styles to consider for your wedding tables:

1. Floral Centrepieces
A classic choice for a reason, floral centrepieces can be customized to fit any wedding vibe. Opt for towering arrangements for a grand, opulent feel or low and lush designs for a more intimate aesthetic. The options are truly limitless with floral arrangements, so they are a great option to match an array of budget needs, colour palettes, styles, themes, and seasons. The key is to find a florist that matches your vibe and trust them to deliver a look that you'll love long beyond your wedding day.

2. Greenery-Only Arrangements
For a modern, organic touch, greenery-only centerpieces are having their moment. Think eucalyptus runners, olive branches, or monstera leaves for tropical vibes. Or lean into an earthy, rustic, fairytale vibe with moss and ferns. There are so many options of greenery that can be mixed and matched to create a truly unique look for your tables. A bonus is that greenery is typically much more hardy than flowers, so they will stay looking fresh in most temperatures for much, much longer.

3. Candles
Nothing sets the mood quite like candlelight. Combine candles with lanterns, candelabras, or votives for a warm and romantic glow. There are so many fun options for candle holders, so you can get really creative - it doesn't just have to be clear glass vases. Lean into color and add visual interest with a variety of styles, shades, sizes, and heights. I am personally really into the trend of adding bows and material (safely) tied around taper candle holders; it just adds another layer of creativity, adding in different textures and colours.

4. Unique Statement Pieces
Want something that sparks conversation? Try sculptures, stacked books, terrariums, disco balls, or even mini art installations. These work especially well for themed weddings or couples with a flair for the unconventional. The best part of having a wedding (other than marrying the love of your life) is getting to do whatever the f*ck you want. There are no rules to follow. There is nothing we love more than seeing exactly who a couple is through different elements on their special day!

5. Seasonal Inspiration
Celebrate the season with seasonal elements. Beyond thinking of seasonal color palettes, consider adding different elements that give a subtle nod to the season, such as unique floral/candle containers, fabrics, or even actual seasonal items. Think gourds or dried florals for fall, or pinecones, ribbon, and ornaments for winter, bright mismatched candles for spring, and lush fruit for summer.

6. Minimalist and Modern
Sometimes less is more. Opt for clean lines, geometric shapes, or a single impactful element, like a single flower in a sleek vase. You can also achieve a modern and minimalist look through limiting your colour palette to one or two colours, focusing more of the quality over quantity of pieces. We are seeing a huge trend for single white roses, which is an impactful way to dress up your tables but keeping it very clean and simple.

7. Hanging Centrepieces
For a show-stopping effect, consider taking your centerpieces off the table entirely. Hanging floral chandeliers, greenery installations, or string lights can add drama and save space on the table. Of course, this comes with logistics, but if your venue is flexible and willing to collaborate with your florist/event designer, installations like this are a surefire way to impress guests and take your wedding to the next level. You can even consider adding fabrics and other elements in combination with florals to achieve a dramatic look.

8. Edible Centrepieces
Combine function with style by using edible elements like tiered dessert stands, or charcuterie boards. It’s practical and visually appealing! Or just go totally over the top, for example fresh fruits can be a particularly aesthetic addition to traditional floral centrepieces - think berries cascading across the table, juicy lemons and limes quartered, or grapes hanging from the side of the floral arrangements. Food can add level of luxury and be a fun talking/snacking point for guests.
